August 14th, 2006 -- Peninsula Group a leading provider of business software and hardware for the Macintosh platform have today shipped the a new driver and plugin for OSX to allow UPS thermal printers to work on the Mac. Thise driver enables thermal transfer labelling printers from UPS to be used as standard printers on Mac OSX and also to be used in Safari with CampusShip thanks to a new custom plugin.
Peninsula UPS Thermal Printer Driver for OSX is a unique printer driver and safari plugin for OSX. It allows you to print using standard print dialogs to various thermal transfer printers. Controls are available for speed, temperature, and other printer options via the standard print dialogs.
When used in CampusShip, no special setup is required thanks to the special plugin shipped with the product. This can result in a 400% increase in labelling speed.
